At Yingling’s we’re proud of our long history in Topeka and are thrilled to have second- and third-generation customers who count on us for their automotive service needs. Our business is built on repeat customers, and your satisfaction is our primary goal. We have one of the best warranties in the area. Our labor carries a 36-month/45,000-mile warranty and, because Yingling’s is a Tech-Net facility, you are assured of quality, brand-name parts with manufacturers’ warranties that are valid across the nation. We are also a AAA-approved facility, a designation we have achieved year after year. We know that some visits aren't planned, so our expert technicians will treat you fairly and get you back on the road quickly.

  • The Early Beginnings

    Brian’s grandparents, Darwin and Sarah Yingling, owned a garage/gas/cafe. Their home was upstairs and they ran their business downstairs.

  • The First Garage

    Grandpa Darwin Yingling, needing a garage to ply his trade, fixed up an old chicken coop behind his house. Brian’s father, Larry Yingling, was around 11 years.

  • Yingling Oil Company

    Yingling Oil Company

    Larry Yingling started the original Yingling Oil company, a Champlin gas station.

  • Business Expansions

    Business Expansions

    After outgrowing the original building, Larry moved his business to a new location. His son, Brent, came to work with him in 1989 to help the business grow. And grow it did!

  • A New Location

    Business was so good that Larry moved again to a new location. Brian Yingling now joined forces with his father to help manage the operation. After giving it a Yingling’s look, this would be home to Yingling’s until the latest move in 1993.

  • The Permanent Residence

    Yingling’s current home at 2525 N. Topeka Blvd. Today, Yingling’s is the largest locally owned and operated independent auto repair facility in Topeka.

  • Yingling’s Auto Body

    Yingling’s Auto Body

    In 1994, Yingling’s expanded its business by starting Yingling’s Auto Body, to provide customers professional, reliable body work. While this service is no longer provided, we are happy to recommend other reputable shops.

  • State-of-the-Art RV Facility

    State-of-the-Art RV Facility

    Continuing to grow, Yingling’s discovered there were only a few options for RV owners in the area. A new 4,300-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility was created to accommodate this need. We no longer offer this service, but are happy to discuss options in the region.

  • New Owners and Fleet Services

    New Owners and Fleet Services

    In 2024 Brian retires, and Brandon and Christa become the new owners. They continue offering the same great services Yingling’s customers have enjoyed for generations. Fleet services became an additional focus.
