April is National Car Month,a time to remind everyone to be Car Care Aware. Car Care Clinics help our friends, family, customers, and neighbors stay safe on the roads by identifying possible trouble areas with their vehicles.
2010A Day of Car Fun and Safety at Yingling’s 2nd AnnualCar Care Clinic
Yingling’s held our 2nd annual Car Care Clinic on April 24, and it was at least 100 times as fun as anything with “car care” in the name has any right to be. The Topeka area residents who attended our car care clinic left armed with new knowledge on how to care for their cars, full stomachs and, thanks to a remote broadcast from Country Legends 106.9 FM, great country songs on their lips.
In addition to the inspection line, where our expert techs scrutinized cars for safety issues, the clinic featured free food, a classic car show and complimentary child seat safety inspections by Shawnee County Safe Kids. Thank you to all who took the time out of your busy schedules to attend.
2009Expert Diagnosis, Great Times At the Car Care Clinic
Safety and fun were the themes of the day at our 1st Car Care Clinic held on April 25. Visitors were treated to complimentary vehicle safety inspections as well as free food, music, games and prizes. Country Legends 106.9FM was on hand with a live radio broadcast, and guests also explored a classic car show while waiting for their cars to be put through their safety paces. In all, 35 vehicles came through the inspection lanes.
